We’ve had a significant focus on, and priority, for your safety. Even though the City Council may have taken the police department from us, we will continue holding them to their word to reduce crime in Tarrant.

🚩 Not trying to sweep a two-year-old’s homicide or chemical endangerment under the rug — Then why say you don’t have a crime? Why didn’t you mirandize or interview the suspect? Why was the case closed? Why was the case sealed from other officers in the department?

🚩 Not closing felony cases that haven’t been assigned or seen by a detective to hide crime — Then why tell us that if you never send a case to a court, charges will never be brought?

🚩 Not downgrading charges to hide an increase in serious crime — Then why were a list of these felony cases, later prosecuted when discovered, closed before even being assigned or seen by any detective?

🚩 Not to mention the cases where evidence was unusable, unavailable, or non-existent because video footage, witnesses, and other evidence disappears over time.

You told us to hold you accountable — not accept your ways of making it seem like crime is down in Tarrant.
